Product Details

Since 2012, we produce craft beers in the purest brewing tradition: high fermentation beers refined by cold storage, and refermented in bottles. All our malts and hops come from organic farming, and we use, for certain ephemeral beers, also organic flowers or spices.

Finally, beer is a lot of water: we are lucky to have here, far from any pollution, particularly pure spring water, without any chemical treatment!

The Brasserie is located in the village of St-Paul sur Ubaye, at an altitude of 1500 m, with a breathtaking view of the summits of La Sauvage and Brec du Chambeyron.

It is moreover the Souvagea, emblematic with its 3 summits culminating at more than 3000m, which gave its name to our beer.

LOCAL, ORGANIC, AND RESPONSIBLE!

We are committed to selecting quality raw materials, produced as close as possible. We are therefore committed to promoting and energizing the local economy.

We only use ingredients from organic farming. In addition, the quality of high mountain spring water is unique!

Revalorization of waste, recyclable packaging (soon a deposit project, follow the next news!), 100% renewable energy, cleaning with ecological products... the approach is global to minimize our footprint throughout the chain, from production to ''to our throats!

India Pale Ale, a bit of history:

When the English realized that ordinary beers could not withstand the trip to India,

they invented a new "Pale Ale", the India Pale Ale was born!

To fight bacteria for two months at sea, in the heat of the holds,

they increased the percentage of alcohol (more malt),

and heavily hopped the beverage using hops for its antiseptic properties.

The result is surprising and disorienting.

Alcohol content: 8% vol.

Colour: Intense golden yellow colour.

Aroma: vine peach, old marc.

Taste and length in the mouth: very malty and strongly hopped,

fruity and slightly smoky on the finish.

The bitterness is frank, however without overpowering the fruity aromas which will delight your taste buds for a long time.

Very pleasant as an aperitif.
