OUR HISTORY
For a weekend Thierry and his companion leave the Drôme in the direction of Italy. They cross the Vallée de l'Ubaye for the Vallée des Merveilles. They discover the city of Barcelonnette in the Parc du Mercantour where they decide to stop there.
The landscape that surrounds them is still wild, a territory to be discovered... Eight years later, the soap factory was born!
Making their own cosmetics themselves in order to control the quality of the raw materials they use on their skin and that of their children becomes essential. It is then easy to imagine cosmetics that are more respectful of nature, cleaner and healthier for our health.
Giving meaning to their daily lives by consuming better, limiting their impact on the environment, participating in a more respectful future for their children has been their source of inspiration...
Slowly the project takes shape, they are lucky enough to find land and have a house built with an annex that will house the soap factory. A local company carries out the wood frame work with ecological and recycled materials, rice husk insulation and wood wool.
Deepening their knowledge was the next step by following a training in the Drôme with a Doctor of Pharmacy, professor of the School of Herbalism of Lyon.
The layout of the laboratory is taking shape. By respecting the areas for good manufacturing practices (GMP), one part for the storage of raw materials, another for the curing of soaps; a space for manufacturing and preparing orders. Very quickly the manufacture of soaps becomes exciting. The soap factory will be called Inipi...

After the validation of their recipes, they market their range of products with a head full of ideas. Inspired by nature and the people around them, they create a range of natural treatments from carefully selected raw and certified organic materials

 "INIPI": MEANING?

It is a ceremony of purification and healing. It is used among the Indians of North America so that men purify themselves physically, mentally and spiritually. Practiced in a sweat lodge, made with branches and covered with skins or blankets, white-hot stones placed in the center of the lodge are poured with water in which plants have been infused
